While caffeine, alcohol, and warm tea right before bed, are common triggers, everyone is different and different things will trigger your body into reacting.
Once you have a handle on what is making your night sweats worse, you can start eliminating or shifting them (ie., drink your tea an hour and a half before bed, exercise before dinner...) to improve your sleep.
