What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect personal information from users of our Site that identifies you as an individual when it is voluntarily provided by you, such as your name, address, telephone number and email address.

We automatically collect browsing information and other information from users of our Site that does not identify you as an individual, but may identify your device, such as information about your browsing activities, geolocation and information about the devices you use to access the Sites.

This information is collected to provide, manage, analyze, and improve the features and functions available on or through the Site, complete your purchases, fulfill orders, market relevant products to you, prevent fraud or misuse, and for our internal business purposes.

Information about our practices is further described below.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

Facebook pixel and Conversion API: We use the Facebook pixel and more targeted conversion API to help us understand the demographics of customers and potential customers interested in our products and websites. It helps you receive higher quality information from us as we better understand who is interested in our products. It benefits our customers so that we can provide the best possible experience as we continue to improve our site. We share this data with our digital marketing group. Please see below for how to turn off this tracking ability within your Facebook account.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you establish an account on the Site, make a purchase, or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, account password, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use Your Personal Information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

– Communicate with you;

– Notify you about an out-of-stock item,

– Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;

– Administer promotions, surveys or other Site features; and

– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SMS Communication

We collect customers' phone numbers for communication purposes such as sending SMS notifications regarding their orders. Please note that at this time, we do not use customers' phone numbers for marketing purposes but solely for order-related communication. By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving text messages related to your orders. If you have any concerns or wish to opt out of receiving SMS notifications, please contact us at service @ coolyoursweats.com.

We may store or process your Personal Information on servers located outside of your home country.  By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to such servers.

Who we share your data with

You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also share your Personal Information in certain other circumstances, such as to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
